The two examples below were completed in a three step process I developed to produce a 3D painting that is fun and unique.
Beginning with my original painting, I create three to five duplicate prints on artist grade, acid free paper using the Giclee printing method which allows me to maintain the quality and integrity of my original painting. Next, I hand cut selected images from my duplicate prints which then I use to construct layers within my art piece. Each layer is attached to the original base image adding depth and dimension. Once each piece is completed, it is gallery framed and sealed in a shadowbox style frame to protect it from moisture and sunlight.
